Look, I don't want to be that person, but the HOA bylaws section 4.2 clearly state that any structural modification requires a 30-day notice period and written approval from the architectural committee, which I'm on, and nobody bothered to follow that when they repainted their front door a shade that isn't even on the approved color palette.
